While often viewed as a pampered breed, they are working cats who thrive off having things to do. They're social cats, who love having friends and love having attention. Cuddling while napping is a favorite activity among them, but not all maine coons want to be touched unless particularly close. They love fish and other meats usually, with some also expressing a fondness in shellfish.
