Chella is a lesser god in the Taverne pantheon that features in Incoming Transmission, and is the captain of the SS Cascade's research expedition. She is a dragon-like god with rainbow speckling around large, darker scales, with occasional steam bursts coming out when excited or particularly emotional. Her large tail is prone to getting caught in doors.

Chella is determined to make their mission a success no matter what, and will do whatever it takes to get the results she's looking for. She is a commanding leader and stern in the field, but is known for encouraging people to relax when there's a chance to breathe, so long as they're willing to come to attention at a moment's notice. In her personal life, she enjoys exercise and testing her physical strength, especially against others in feats of combat.

Chella reports to Wax, and seems to regard him as a father figure.

Chella is aware of Alani's interest, and definitely isn't against it. There are just more important things at hand.
